Projects to follow and people to follow are different calls. This index follows 128 people and 217 labs who own the repos on the Trending Radar and the skills catalog, adds up the stars across their repos day by day, and reads how often they ship, how they post on X, and who pays attention to whom.

Who pays attention to whom
An arrow from A to B means A follows B on GitHub, mentioned B on X, or opened pull requests in B's repos in the past year. Dot size is the Influence Index. Circles are groups that link to each other more than to the rest (Louvain). Drag to move, click a dot to open the person.
How the Influence Index works
Influence Index (0 to 100) ranks people and labs separately. Each part is a percentile inside the group. People: reach 25% (GitHub plus X followers), track record 20% (stars across their own repos), momentum 25% (stars gained across their repos, 30 days weighted 60% and 7 days 40%), shipping 15% (days with contributions in the last 90), peer attention 15% (PageRank in the attention graph). Labs: reach 20%, track record 30%, momentum 35%, peer attention 15%. If a part is missing, for example no X account, it is dropped and the rest are re-weighted; each profile says which parts it used.
Rising lists add up daily stars from GH Archive across each owner's most-starred repos, their newer hits, and any of their repos on the Trending Radar (602 repos measured). People whose growth mostly comes from a repo the radar holds out are listed under "Check first" instead.
X activity comes only from the handle a person or lab lists on their own GitHub profile, never from name matching. It reads their latest 20 posts: posts a week, median likes and views, and who they mention.
Jev (jev-1.13.0) labels each account: role, what it is known for, who benefits from following it, whether it ships steadily, and how worth following it is. Under 80% confidence the label shows as unsure. "Known for" lines are written on a free model from the GitHub bio and repos only.
History: every run stores a snapshot (Turso tutorhero-stars: 345 snapshot rows over 1 day(s)), so rank and score changes build up day by day from 2026-10-15.
